M&R Harvest is made up of Maggie Pounds and Rob Eckman. We love growing food. Our enterprise is the result of years spent honing our craft on farms around the northeast.
Our fields are leased from farmer Charley Baer, who we also work for growing dry beans. Check out Baer’s Best here.
Maggie is the captain at the helm of M&R Harvest. She hails from Massachusetts, where she previously managed Brookwood Community Farm. Maggie’s pre-farming background in ecology helped spark her interest in sustainable agriculture, and still drives her experimenting and problem solving in the field. Plus, she loves looking at weird bugs.
Rob is a native of New Jersey, where he began his farm career in earnest before working his way north and east through New England at a number of small farms. He can usually be found picking vegetables early in the morning while trying not to spill his coffee.
